Elusive Shiny Ponyta Found

For those of you who may not know, 'shiny' pokemon are pokemon of an alternate colour that can be found in Gold/Silver onwards - though the chances of finding one are 1 in 1,892. I personally thought these pokemon were pretty much a myth until Melvin directed me to this link.
One player has manged to find a shiny Ponyta after only 25,968 encounters (and 133 hours of play)! I like Pokemon but I don't think I can put that much time into getting a shiny pokemon.

Supper Effective: Pokemon Web Comic

Hey folks!

Vanessa just sent me the link to an awesome Pokemon web comic. From what I can gather of the few pages I've read, it cleverly makes fun of aspects of the game (such as the fact that Oak can't remember whether you're a boy or girl; or even his own grandson's name). It's quite funny and I suggest any fan or avid player of the game to go check it out.
