Hey folks,
It's time to place the spotlight on another artist, and this time we have our very own CAMC member, Nigel, also known as kazekage2!
Head here to check out his gallery.
Nigel specializes in creating Fractal images - a medium I know little about, but find very pleasing to look at. The images are rather abstract but have a lot of energy and motion to them, which is my favourite kind of abstract art!
I'm sure Nigel would be willing to explain the mechanics behind Fractal creation should any of you be interested.
All the best,
Jess
P.S. Should any of our members have deviantart accounts and wish to have their art displayed in one of our blog entries, feel free to send me a message with your info.

Retro Game Race
Head over to link to witness a race between classic video game characters.
The winner may suprise you...
Also, it's fun to see how many of the characters you can name - and even what games they come from.
All the best,
Jess

Gotham High
Here's something you fans of the Batman might find interesting: link.
Apparently, at one point in time, a series was put forth that re-visioned various characters of the Batman universe as freshmen in high school. :)
Can you imagine? The awkwardness of Batman and the Joker in gym class together? Or Poison Ivy and Catwoman having girl talk in the caf? I don't know whether to consider the whole concept ridiculous or ingenious.
Follow the link for some interesting concept art and an article explaining the premise of the series.

Mass Effect 3 Teaser
Being the Mass Effect fan that I am, I thought I might share the teaser released for the final installment of the trilogy:
This trailer was shown along with the teasers for Mortal Kombat, Uncharted 3, Batman: Arkham City, Oblivion: Skyrim and other various goodies and previews at the Spike Video Game Awards.
It looks like 2011 was going to be a great year for video games.
All the best,
Jess

Every Anime Opening Ever
Melvin has once again sent me an awesome video he found here.
The following video is a collection of anime openings showcasing the repeated use of the same imagery.
Watching this video really does make one realize how many anime openings use the same images. It's quite hilarious actually. It's also fun so see how many anime openings you can identify through the short opening clips. Have fun.
